# Network License: Could Not Connect to the Server

## Problem

'Could not connect to server' error is visible:

## Solutions

1. Check if your license server is up and running: \
   Try to load this page with any browser: *http\://*[***YourLicenseServer***](#user-content-fn-1)[^1]*:2468/web*\
   \
   Start the server if it is not running <br>
2. Make sure that the correct license server is set in the Dock license manager:\
   For example.: '*http\://*[***YourLicenseServer***](#user-content-fn-1)[^1]***:**&#x38;731'*
3. Ensure that an [**antivirus** program is not blocking](#user-content-fn-2)[^2] 'Slps.Disributor.Host.exe' file<br>
4. **Re-install** Agacad license server:\
   \
   Navigate to programs and features > locate Agacad license server > Uninstall > Download and install [the latest version](https://cdn.iv.agacad.com/attachments/1078/NetworkLicenceServer-4.0.2020.2.msi)<br>
5. Make **changes** to 'Slps.Distributor.Host' in **properties** (right-click on Service > Properties):<br>

[^2]: Kindly note, that some antivirus programs are has a high rate of false-positive quarantine. AGACAD assures you that the 'Slps.Disributor.Host.exe' file is safe and contains no viruses\

    Please remove the .exe file from the quarantine and make an exception for this file or path: C:\Program Files (x86)\AGA-CAD
