# Manage Configuration Files

Each company can create its standard configurations. As a starting point, users can duplicate the default configuration files and map them from a convenient location on the computer.&#x20;

## Duplicate configuration files

Go to **Settings** and choose **Configuration Files' Location**:

When opening the dialogue for the first time, you will find the default configuration file path. **Copy this file path** and **paste** it inside the Windows Explorer folder:

**Copy** all folders and **paste** them into a chosen folder:

Then **copy** the new file path, **go back to Revit** and **paste** it inside an empty slot of the dialogue. Then click **Save & Close**:

## Add more file path slots

To add more slots, **click the "plus"** symbol at the bottom left:

Then select the new slot by **clicking on a circle** and **paste** the file path:

## Switch between file paths

If you have created multiple company configuration standards, you can switch between them when working on different projects. **Click on the circle** next to the chosen file path and hit **Save & Close**:

## Remove the file path

Users can remove the file path by clicking the "minus" button next to the file path:
