# Extension for Autodesk® Revit®

To begin, download the ARKANCE Dock:

### Trial Activation Instructions

1. Click on “Start Trial”.

2. Fill the form with your personal data.
3. Please select your “Country”, because you will get connection to international classification standards and the selected country national standards (if such exists).
4. Click on “Get trial code”.
5. Click on “Yes” for the installation process.
6. Login information will be sent to your **email**. This login is created under **Guest** rights in the Classification System (BIMAXON ICS old name) platform.

Users with role of Guest can login and review classification systems added or created by Administrators and Moderators. They can also assign classification to the BIM objects in Revit.

4. Open Classification System. You’ll find it under the ARKANCE Dock tab in Revit. Click on the icon to get started.
5. Connect to the Classification System server.
6. Enter your login details from the email.
7. Check “Remember me” if you wish, to store login details, and then click the login button.

### Start to work

1. Select an account from the drop-down list.
2. Choose a classification system from the drop-down list.
3. Select a table in that classification system from the drop-down list.
4. Browse the tree structure to find the class you are looking for and select it.
5. Choose a property name from the drop-down list. Usually, it's a code.
6. Choose a property name from the drop-down list. Usually, it's a name.

NOTE! Elements must be selected before accessing the drop-down list. The list of property names contains all the properties of the selected elements available for modification.

7. Auto-numbering will start from the number entered in AutoNumber Start at: field.

9. The Value text field allows you to create different types of property values.

11. Click the Set button to set the values for your selected elements.
