**Select Elements** – features for quickly selecting elements by different rules.

### Select Elements by Member Type in Frame

**Select Element by Member Type in Frame** – selects all framing members of the same type from the frame.

*Example: Select any stud → **Select Element by Member Type in Frame** → All studs from the frame will be selected:*

### Select Elements by Member Type in all Frames

**Select Element by Member Type in all Frames** – selects all framing members of the same type from all frames in the project.

*Example: Select any stud → **Select Element by Member Type in all Frames** → All studs from all frames in the project will be selected:*

**Select Element by Member Type in all Frames by Level** – selects all framing members of the same type from all frames in the same level.

*Example: Select any stud → **Select Element by Member Type in all Frames by Level** → All studs from all frames in the same level will be selected:*

**Select Frame Modules** – selects preassembled elements.

*Example:* *Select any stud → **Select Frame Modules** → All elements set as preassembled are selected, like opening kings, trimmers, cripples, etc.:*

### Select Main Parts by Layer in Wall

**Select Main Parts by Layer in Wall** – selects main parts in the framed wall.

Please make sure **Show Parts** or **Show Both** is selected in **View Properties** → **Parts Visibility**:

*Example: Click **Select Main Parts by Layer in Wall** and you will able to select only main parts from the framed wall:*

**Select Main Parts by Layer in Level –** selects main parts in the same type of framed walls in the same level.

Please make sure **Show Parts** or **Show Both** is selected in **View Properties** → **Parts Visibility**:

*Example: Click **Select Main Parts by Layer in Level** → Select one main part in the framed wall → All main parts of the same type in the same level will be selected. In this example, the main parts of external walls in the same level are selected:*
