# How to shorten the Headers/Sills at the inner King Studs?

1. Before modifying **Framing Configurations**, check which configuration is linked with your wall type by **selecting** a wall instance and going to **Link Wall** dialogue:

2. Go to **Framing Configurations**
3. At the **top-left**, ensure the **Configuration Name** is the same as in the **Link Wall** dialogue
4. Go to **Modify Configuration Settings** tab
5. Scroll a bit and check the box **Connect Headers to Internal King Stud/Trimmer Joist**
6. Click **Save**

7. Click on **Frame Wall**
8. **Select a wall** and choose **Delete and Reframe** in the pop-up:
