# Transfer Family Units

Transfer family units from the selected template family to all families in a specified folder.

First, select the folder with families that need to be modified. All families in the selected folder and its subfolders will be updated.

Second, select the template family that will provide the units template.

Third, choose what to do with the backup files.

And now, Smart Browser will transfer the units.&#x20;

After running the modification, families will be saved in the same Revit version in which the process was run.
