# Access to the path 'TOOLS 4 BIM’ is denied

## Problem

'System.UnauthorizedAccessException: Access to the path ‘C\\:ProgramData\AGA-CAD\TOOLS 4 BIM’ is denied' error is visible

## **Solution**

Make sure that your user has all read/write permissions to the folder\
\&#xNAN;*C:\ProgramData\AGA-CAD\TOOLS 4 BIM:*

1. Open Properties of the folder:

2. Select '*Security tab*' > Edit your User/User group, and make sure that '*Full Control*' is ticked
3. Restart Revit. The error should disappear
