# Note positioning
There are few ways how to position dimensions with text notes in the view.

**Important!** Content of notes comes from Dimensioning Priority & Notes tab and from Smart Dimensions settings. But where they will be located in Assembly views is defined by these settings.

* Horizontal Notes on Left
* Horizontal Notes on Right
* Bottom Notes on Left/Top Notes on Right
* Counterclockwise
