# Network License Error: Maximum number of activations exceeded

## Problem

'Maximum number of activations exceeded for the provided key.' error is visible\
\
This error means that the code has already been used on a different server

## **Solution**

Make sure that the license server has been [removed from the previous workstation](https://docs.besmart.software/getting-started/troubleshooting/network-license/network-license-deactivation)
