Align Elements – features for aligning joists, opening cripples, bridging/noggin etc.
Align Joists with Selected Joist – use if joists have to be aligned after framing a floor. Select a joist and other joists will be aligned to predefined distance.
Align Joists with other Element – aligns joists with studs from wall or joists from other frames.
Steps:
Run Align Joists with other Element → Select any Structural Framing element;
Select a joist from the frame that has to be aligned:
Align Joists with two other Elements – aligns joists with two selected studs from wall or joists from other frames.
Steps:
Run Align Joists with two other Elements → Select two Structural Framing elements (e.g., studs from wall);
Select a joist that has to be aligned:
Align Joist's Face to selected Face - aligns joist's face with selected element face.
Steps:
Run Align Joist's Face to selected Face → Select face of any element (e.g., a face of a column);
Select a joist that has to be aligned:
Align Joists with Faces of two other Elements – aligns joists with two selected faces from other elements.
Steps:
Run Align Joists with Faces of two other Elements → Select two faces of any element (e.g., faces of a column);
Select a joist that has to be aligned:
Align Bridging/Nogging/Blocking – aligns bridging/noggings or blocking with other selected element.
Example: Bridging is aligned with bridging from another floor:

Reverse End Connection - Opening Intersection – used when opening is located in the frame end. Usually king stud stays and end stud is removed. While using this function end stud stays and openings' horizontal elements connect to end stud.
