# How to insert Blocking/Nogging between selected studs?

1. Navigate to **Wall+M**/**Floor+M**/**Roof+M**
2. Click on **Add/Modify Elements**

3. Click on **Add Additional Bridging/Nogging/Blocking**
4. Select **two studs** in between which you need to insert horizontal elements

4. In the dialogue, adjust the Custom Layout settings

* Change the **Family Type** if necessary

* **Rotate** the profile
* Adjust the **Position**

* Change the Cut End settings

* Set offset from Bottom or Top
