How to insert Blocking/Nogging between selected studs?

1. Navigate to Wall+M/Floor+M/Roof+M

2. Click on Add/Modify Elements

1. Click on Add Additional Bridging/Nogging/Blocking

2. Select two studs in between which you need to insert horizontal elements

1. In the dialogue, adjust the Custom Layout settings

• Change the Family Type if necessary

Note: only use a Plate or Stud-joist family. Learn more

• Rotate the profile

• Adjust the Position

• Change the Cut End settings

Cut Bridging/Nogging (left), Cut Studs (right)

• Set offset from Bottom or Top
