Smart Tags Configuration
Smart Tags configuration window look like this:
On the top, you have options to Create, Rename, Delete, Save, and Duplicate your configuration.
On the left, you have different categories of elements that you can tag. You can create different tagging rules for different categories and apply them all using a single configuration.
On the right, you have settings for tagging.
In the tagging settings, you can find different tabs:
Common Settings - filter elements that should be tagged.
Horizontal, Vertical, Element Sections, Diagonal Elements - these tabs might differ depending on the selected Category. It is used as an orientation filter for tagging the selected category.
Define standard settings for Revit tags - Tag Type, Tag orientation, Leader settings.
Preferred Position of Tag:
Horizontal Position - Center, Top, Right - tag orientation for tagged element.
Horizontal Offset - positive or negative value moves tag left and right.
Vertical Position - Center, Left, Right - tag orientation for tagged element.
Vertical Offset - positive or negative value moves tag up and down.
Avoid Tag Overlap - if turned ON, tags will try to avoid other tags, placed before them. Depending on orientation, tags will be moved in the opposite direction.
