# Apply button

The **Apply** feature is designed to streamline the workflow by reducing the number of manual steps required and helping you prepare the correct configuration more quickly.

1. After creating or selecting a configuration, click **Apply**.
2. Choose one or several columns to apply the configuration to.

{% hint style="info" %}
**Important:** The configuration does not need to be assigned in the **Link Column** command (within the Configuration Window) for a specific column. The **Apply** feature works only with **active configurations**
