Load Families

Load Families – This option allows you to select and load sample families into your current project. It provides a range of predefined Metric and Imperial families, including framing, columns, rebar, and tag families.

The option can be found under the Settings drop-down list:

You can find the families in Project Browser → Families under Structural Framing and Columns, Structural Rebars and Annotation Symbols categories.

Also, you can have a path to company families.:

Default Metric and Imperial libraries are located here:

C:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming\Tools 4 Revit\Reinforcement & Structural Families

If you modify these families in the future, then you can hold them in your company template or place them in this catalog for upcoming projects.
