# Numbers & Coordinates

The **Sort Mark** tool (included in the MEP Hangers bundle) will be discontinued in 2026. Its functionality is being replaced either by **Smart Documentation** or **integrated into other solutions**.

Within **MEP Hangers**, Sort Mark is replaced by the **Numbers & Coordinates** command. ‘**Numbers & Coordinates**’ functionality (previously known as Sort Mark) can **batch-number Revit elements** of any category (not necessarily hangers) and **add additional information (such as X, Y, Z coordinates, room or space data, etc.)** to the selected parameters.

In the MEP Hangers tool, it comes with some **sample configurations** (use the **Batch Numbering** command).&#x20;

There are configurations for **assigning unique numbers to all hangers or MEP elements**. Sample configurations also include setups for populating **Drilling Point families (found on hangers) with X, Y, and Z values to use for Field Points (Trimble Points).**
